Opened in 1971, the 150th anniversary of the great author’s birth, in the flat where he spent his last years. The rooms are restored and Dostoyevsky’s personal belongings exhibited. New literary display devoted to the writer’s life and work: photographs, documents, letters, manuscripts, etc. The museum’s stage hosts performances by St. Petersburg theatres, as well as productions by theatres from other cities and countries. The museum’s library holds over 24,000 volumes.
